Murotozaki is a sacred place that raised the young Kukai (Kobo Daishi).
This private guest house was established in Muroto Sanzan, the foothills of the east, in Mitsu village.
We encourage you to discover the place that raised the Kobo Daishi.

The house incorporates peace between the sea, sky, forest, and cape by FILO WORKS: Noriyo Hashiguchi.

A refreshing Japanese space with the sound of the waves from the sea and the Qinghai wave. Capacity 2 people.
空海の間ーラウンジ Kukai Lounge
空海の発祥の地とされる室戸岬の御厨人窟（みくろど）。
そこで空海が厳しい修行ののち、悟りを開いた時に見た空と海の景色からインスピレーションを受けて創り上げた大広間。長い歴史と共に日本の文化を慈しみ旅客が集う和の空間。
"Mikurodo" at Cape Muroto, a land by Kukai.
This room was inspired by the sky and seascapes while being enlightened of Kukai's critical training. With a long history, it is a space where travelers gather and enjoy Japanese culture.

ゲストハウスに隣接する蔵ラウンジ。
明治時代に建てられたデザインを受け継ぎながらも新しいゲストが集う空間。

星テラス Star terrace
ゲストハウスの山手に隣接するゲスト専用の星テラス。
満点に輝く室戸の星空を楽しむために生まれた星テラスは、ハンモックやハンギングチェアに揺られながら大自然の音や景色を感じられ、ヨガなどのデトックス空間としてもお使いいただけます。
また、ウッドベンチのエリアではコーヒーを飲みながらコワーキングスペースとしてもご利用いただけます。

The star terrace, which was created to enjoy the starry sky of Muroto that shines perfectly.
You can feel the sounds and scenery of nature while swaying in a hammock or hanging chair, and use it as a detox space for yoga.
You can also drink coffee or use it as a coworking space in the wood bench area.

ご宿泊当日 宿泊費の100%／ご宿泊前日 宿泊費の50%／ご宿泊2〜4日前 宿泊費の30%
○ Reservations are accepted from 3months in advance. Please make a reservation for the day by phone.
○ The cancellation fee is as follows:
- On the day of accommodation: 100% of accommodation expenses
- The day before accommodation: 50% of accommodation expenses
- 2-4 days before accommodation: 30% of accommodation expenses

○シャワー・トイレ・洗面台の設備は共同でのご利用となります。
○就寝中のお客さまのご迷惑となりますので夜間（23時以降）はお静かに。
○チェックインは16時から20時まで。チェックアウトは10時です。
○チェックイン後の門限はありません。
○お客様のプライベート空間を大切に考えているため、ご利用は中学生以上とさせていただいております。
○ Shower, restroom, and sink facilities are shared.
○ Quiet hours are observed after 23:00 to provide a quiet space for sleeping travelers.
○ Check-in is available from 16:00 to 20:00. Check out is at 10:00 AM.
○ There is no curfew after check-in.
○ We value the private space for our customers, so junior high school students and above can stay.

NAKI（ナキ）
1965年生まれ。プロサーファー、写真家、文筆家、プロデューサー、アーティスト、奄美大島観光大使など多数な肩書きをもつ「ハッピーサーフ思想」の提唱者。
1994年に渡米。写真集「feel the glide（2009）」「Happy Glide」「feel the glide 2」等を発刊後、ノースハワイでの生活を綴った「NORTH HAWAII」等の著書を持つ。個展は、渋谷区原宿の”BEAMS NEWS”を皮切りに、B Gallery(2005)、DIESELでの個展、ラスベガスでの作品展、「Tokyo Cultuart by BEAMS」。グリーンルーム・フェスティバルのメインビジュアル等々で知られる。
独創的なタッチで創造される“NAKI WORLD”は、カウアイ島（ノースハワイ）やカリフォルニア、奄美大島、四国、千葉を行き来しながらの作品製作中に、ここ室戸岬で空海思想との出会いがあり、青龍寺奥の院、足摺岬の金剛福寺を経て、室戸三山への想いから、このスカイ・アンド・シー室戸の総合プロデュースを果たした。NAKI’S BLOG

東京生まれ
アパレルデザイナーを経て、自身のブランドを立ち上げつつ
カフェや雑貨店を営んでいた。もっと自由にフレキシブルに生きたいという強い想いを機に、現在は食と自然が豊かな四国・高知県に移住。大好きなサーフィンを楽しむかたわら、モロッコの調味料HARISSAやミックススパイスをオリジナルブレンドで作り、全国の友人の店に卸している。その他、食にまつわる旅雑誌の記事を執筆（ANA機内誌「翼の王国」など）。45épices WEB SHOP

テキスタイルメーカーのジャガード織物部門で糸開発・染色・製織のプロとして経験を積み、その後大手インテリアメーカーのチーフデザイナーとして商品開発に携わる。ミラノサローネ、ハイムテキスタイル、プルミエールビジョン、モーダ・モンなどインテリアだけでなく幅広く海外の展示会を毎年視察し、インテリアトレンドセミナーや企業プロ向けの繊維に関するワークショップセミナーの講師も務める。FILO WORKS

徳島県出身。明治大学理工学部を卒業後、大手インテリアメーカーの製品開発を長年にわたり携わる。サーフィン、ヨットを趣味とし、海とシンプルライフが大好きで高知県の魅力を知る。
2019年、長年住んだ東京とエンジニアのキャリアをゼロにして高知県に移住。室戸の自然、歴史文化、食に感動し、多くの方々に室戸を感じていただきたくゲストハウスを立ち上げる。

「スカイ アンド シー・ムロト」は、
四国の南東のはしっこ、室戸岬にほどちかい
三津の集落にあります。
高知龍馬空港からは車で約1時間30分、
徳島空港からは約2時間40分、
神戸空港から約4時間。
室戸岬までは車でわずか10分たらずです。

Journey to
"sky and sea muroto"
"Sky and Sea Muroto" is located in the village of Mitsu near Cape Muroto, a southeastern part of Shikoku.
About 1 hour and 30 minutes drive from Kochi Ryoma Airport, about 2 hours and 40 minutes
from Tokushima Airport and about 4 hours from Kobe Airport.
It is less than 10 minutes by car to Cape Muroto.
